Keno is the smartest dog I have ever worked with. She is a super quick learner &
loves playing shaping games with her Mom. She enjoys Freestyle and Obedience
work. She is currently working with Mary Ann Callahan. Keno is excited to try
Canine Drill and Freestyle the Three Left Feet team.
Keno likes to spend her time wrestling with Jamm, Mattie & Tater. She also LOVES
to retrieve, and would gladly spend all day playing fetch. She likes to look after the
cats, much to their dismay! Her favorite treat is looking at the sheep and goats at
Nevins Farm. Keno passed her Slate Belt Herding Organization Herding Instinct Test
under Carolyn Wilki in October of 2007 with flying colors! She definitely sees
herding in her future! She hopes to work more with Carolyn in the future.
Keno had her first litter of puppies on June 1, 2005 at Vinelake. She loved being a
Mom and was thrilled to have her second litter - seven puppies who arrived on
07/07/07! She's a great mother - she takes after her Mom, Mattie! That was her last litter
for Vinelake and the puppies are beautiful & smart, just like their Mom! Now Keno
will have plenty of time to play and train!
